Doctor Rich:
3,000! Man, that’s a big number!
So we recently reached our 3,000th robotic surgery. After the 1,000th and 2,000th milestones, we had a nice little cake and celebration. We decided to have fun with this one. So please enjoy.

Hospital CEO:
So I understand you hit another surgery milestone today. Was it some kind of record?
Doctor Rich:
Oh, it’s no big deal. Just another day in the OR for me. I’m just pleased to serve the community.
Hospital CEO:
From what I hear, only a handful of GYN surgeons in the world have reached a record like this. So come on… What was the number?
Doctor Rich:
You know, I don’t want to say…
Hospital CEO:
What, was it in the hundreds? Was it a thousand?
Doctor Rich:
It was pretty big…
Hospital CEO:
Oh, come on, man! Show some hubris!
Doctor Rich:
All right, fine. I did my 3,000th robotic surgery today!
Hospital CEO:
3,000th?! You know, there’s like entire hospitals that haven’t done that many! So what do you think you’re going to do to celebrate?
[Doctor Rich looks up and gets lost in a daydream about a swanky celebration. There are huge balloons, pyrotechnics, and fancy cars. He imagines beautiful women presenting him with a champion belt, champagne, and a plaque commemorating his greatness as they dance to rap music.]
Hospital CEO:
[Awakening Doctor Rich from his daydream]
Doctor Rich? Lost you there for a second! How would you like to celebrate?
Doctor Rich:
[Embarrassed and back in reality]
You know what? Just like a cake, just plain vanilla… vanilla’s fine!
[Cuts to actual video of a cake cutting celebration with Doctor Rich’s staff]
Doctor Rich:
This milestone belongs to our amazing community and the mentors that came before. And to my greatest teachers: my patients, the amazing staff members, and elite team that made all of this possible.
And to my beautiful family: how can I express in words my appreciation, my love, my gratitude? Their grace, their mischief, their simultaneous support and disapproval…
Thank you for being there through the highs and the lows, through the laughter and the tears. You always raise us up.
Please remember: I love you, 3,000.
